Bar Mitzvah Bash

There is no better way to kick off a new semester than with a party to remember.  

On January 14th, Western Hillel threw the Bar Mitzvah party of the century, complete with a candy table, Dr. Jones and, of course, the Horah. We also can’t forget numerous students being lifted up on chairs to really relive the glory days. The Magen Boys delivered all the top hits from our middle school days, while glow sticks and blow up guitars were rewarded to those who could still remember the moves to Hey Baby.  Many of the top hits were played and students were unwilling to leave the event until they absolutely had to. With over 250 students in attendance, Western’s Bar Mitzvah Bash proved to be one of our most successful social events this year.  Social events like these grow and strengthen our Jewish student community on campus and we look forward to many more throughout the rest of the semester!
