Hillel at Ryerson offers creative and diverse
programming for Jewish students enrolled at Ryerson. Hillel at Ryerson
aims to provide students with enjoyable social, cultural and religious
activities. We host weekly bagel lunches, Shabbat dinners, Hebrew
lessons, Jewish education, arts and culture programming and social
action activities. We aim to defend Israel and it's right to exist
in a non-threatening, non-confrontational manner. We are fortunate
to hold an office space in Ryerson's main student center and have
an "open door policy" to warmly welcome Jewish students
and their friends into our Hillel home. Hillel at Ryerson provides
students a place to "be Jewish and do Jewish" at Ryerson
University.
We seek to provide students a place to "hang
out," socialize and meet other Jewish students. Whether you're
up for a shmooze, some bagels or mezuza making, Hillel at Ryerson
is your home away from Thornhill.
"Whether through Shabbat dinners or hanging
out in the Sukkah, Hillel at Ryerson has connected Jewish students
on Ryerson's campus helping redefine our roots."
